01 · Enter the date you were born
Choose Gregorian or Korean lunar, then enter year-month-day. For Korean lunar dates, select regular or leap month using your birth record; do not guess. The calculator supports Gregorian dates from 1900 to 2050. Korean lunar input requires the Asia/Seoul time zone.
02 · Use the local time at your birthplace
If you know your birth time, select AM or PM, hour and minute. If you do not, choose “I don’t know”; we leave the hour pillar unknown. For births outside Korea, use the local Gregorian date and your birthplace’s time zone. The default is Asia/Seoul, so change it when needed.
03 · Read the chart one part at a time
The year, month, day and hour columns are the four pillars. The Day Master is the heavenly stem of the day pillar. The five-element table counts the visible chart characters; it is not a score for your strengths, weaknesses or good fortune. An unknown birth time normally leaves six known characters instead of eight.
04 · Understand the calculation choices
The year changes at the start-of-spring solar term, and the month changes at its solar-term boundary. The day changes at local midnight; true solar time is not applied. Near a solar-term boundary, more than one chart may be shown. Different calculation conventions can produce different charts. Luck cycles, compatibility and favorable-element judgments are not included.
05 · Choose a day and a birth year
On the daily horoscope page, select your zodiac sign, a date from the past seven days and your birth year. Dates follow Korean Standard Time, even if it is still the previous day where you live. These readings are general reflections, separate from your personal chart.
06 · Clear your details when finished
No name or sign-in is required. Birth details are sent to the server for calculation, but the application does not save those inputs or results in its database. Use “Clear my details and results” to reset the form. Ask permission before entering someone else’s details.
If something does not work
For an expired session, refresh the page and enter your details again. For too many requests, wait one minute. If your local birth time occurred twice when daylight saving time ended, the calculator may ask for a UTC offset. If you cannot confirm it, do not guess.
