This notice explains information handling for Woldam’s personal calculator, email enquiries and website visits.
1. Operator and purposes

We process information needed to calculate and display a chart you request, answer enquiries, operate the site and limit excessive requests. Birth details supplied for a calculation are not sold or used to personalise advertising. A new purpose will be addressed through the notices, consent or other steps required by applicable law.
2. Personal calculations
The form uses your birth date, calendar selection, leap-month choice, birth time or unknown-time selection, time zone and, when needed, UTC offset. It does not ask for a name, national identification number or account. An unknown birth time produces a chart without an hour pillar.
Submitting the form sends these details to our server in South Korea. The calculation application uses them to process the request and display the result without saving the inputs or results in its database. Results carry a no-store cache directive. The reset button and leaving the page clear the form and results. Required inputs are necessary for a personal calculation. Ask permission before entering another person’s details.
This does not mean that browsers or external providers keep no records. Connection records and external processing are described below.
3. Email enquiries and deletion
We use your email address, message and attachments to respond and resolve problems. Please avoid unnecessary birth details or passwords. Enquiries arrive through Gmail; this site has no separate enquiry submission form.
When the operator marks a completed conversation, an automation starts a 30-day period when it first detects that label. The next successful run after that period permanently deletes the conversation’s messages and attachments from Gmail. A detected new reply or removal of the label cancels the scheduled deletion. The operator checks execution status because hourly runs can be delayed or fail. This is not a guarantee of deletion within exactly 30 days of completing a response.
Google Apps Script stores conversation identifiers, a hash of the message list, the first detection time and execution counts. It does not copy bodies, subjects or senders. Tracking is removed after deletion or detected removal of the completion label. The last execution summary is replaced on the next successful run. The automation does not clear the entire mailbox.
4. Cookies and connection records
The pll_language cookie remembers your language for one year. You can delete or block it in your browser, which may affect that preference. WordPress may store emoji-rendering support in sessionStorage under wpEmojiSettingsSupports. The calculator does not store birth inputs or results there. Administrator authentication uses login cookies.
Request limiting uses an HMAC identifier derived from an IP address, counts and timing. These records expire within 60 seconds, although physical removal can occur later during WordPress cleanup.
Web-server logs may contain request paths, times, response statuses, browser and referrer information, and errors. WordPress container logs rotate at 10MB per file with up to three files; this is a size limit rather than a fixed retention period.
5. External services and international processing
A server in South Korea does not keep all processing there. The locations and retention descriptions below reflect providers’ public policies, not a confirmed country or internal deletion time for each Woldam request.
Cloudflare, Inc. provides connectivity, security and performance analytics. Visits and requests involve network processing of IP addresses, requests and traffic, including submitted calculation requests. Web Analytics measures page use and loading performance. Its policy describes primary storage in the US and EEA and global access; retention varies by purpose and legal duties. Contact: [email protected].
Google LLC provides Gmail enquiry handling and Apps Script deletion automation. Email exchange and script execution involve network processing of messages, attachments and the tracking data in section 3. Google is US-based and uses global servers. Its internal retention is distinct from our mailbox-deletion schedule. Contact: [email protected].
If you do not want further international processing, stop submitting details or sending email and contact the operator about deletion or restriction of held information. This may prevent a personal calculation or email response. It cannot undo a transfer that has already occurred. Current provider policies and contact information are linked below.
6. Disclosure and automated processing
We do not currently save personal reading results for public browsing. Rewarded-ad access and payments are not connected. Advertising-account verification tags and ads.txt do not provide an ad-viewing feature.
Apart from the external processing described here, we do not arbitrarily disclose calculation or enquiry information to other businesses. Legally valid requests are assessed for their basis and required scope.
Chart interpretations are for reflection. The site does not make automated decisions about employment, credit, eligibility or other matters affecting your rights or obligations.
7. Your requests
Email the privacy contact to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. We will request only necessary identity checks and respond using the procedures and periods required by applicable law. Representatives may need to demonstrate their authority. Do not send a complete identity document or password unsolicited.
We cannot retrieve calculation inputs or results that were not saved. If a request cannot be fulfilled or a legal restriction applies, we will explain why. South Korea’s Privacy Portal at privacy.go.kr provides information on privacy complaints and assistance.
8. Children under 14
We do not operate a parental-consent verification process. Users under 14 must not submit personal calculation inputs or direct email enquiries. A parent or guardian may ask how the service works without sending a child’s personal information.
The calculator asks users to confirm that they are at least 14. This is self-declaration, not identity or age verification. If we learn that information was submitted directly by a child under 14, we will stop that processing and delete information we hold.
9. Deletion and safeguards
The calculation application does not create retained database records of inputs and results after request processing. Enquiries are permanently deleted from Gmail under section 3, and their tracking records are removed. Logs rotate as described in section 4. If a legal retention obligation applies to particular information, it will be managed for that required purpose and period.
The site uses HTTPS, administrator authentication and access limits, authentication for the internal calculation API, and request limits. Mailbox deletion does not immediately erase recipients’ separate copies, downloaded files or every internal Google record.
10. Updates
Changes will be reflected in the text and effective date here. New advertising, account or storage features and changes in purpose or scope will be reviewed for the notices and consent they require. Opening this page is not treated as consent to processing that requires separate consent.
